Best of Friends

Heard of this?
Who haven't right?

The best of friends is probably the term you would use for the most valuable friend you would ever describe that person who have been part of your life who knows a little bit of every moment you have been through.
Friggin aye to that! So let me share mine. Low and behold my very first model duh! My best of friends. Imagine the irony of having your best friend be your very first model. It was a blast. It was utter fun all the way. Sure! Everyone looking at us was a bit nerve wracking but it was an experience that would make other people say... Jeez.. I wish I can do that.

The timing was perfect so it seems with the picture posted here. Nope! Nothing was near to perfect timing while shooting this captivating picture. The weather was bad, the lighting was horrible and the conditions were worst than expected and to top that, she was pregnant and was making "lihi" with a vengeance. LOL ~ Laugh out loud.

I am proud of how I edited this picture. I made her eyes a feature. I back dated her skin as if she was ten years younger. The word perfect would be well fit for this picture. Well, she deserves it.

This would be the very first project I ever made that would make me into a portrait photographer. Now I am writing about the experience. Photography is likely a skill that everyone can learn but not everyone can stand out. I ridicule the part where a Digital Photographer would comment about editing are for graphic artists. There is nothing wrong with editing your digital takes. Why not? Film Photographers used to do the same thing, just with a different approach or technique. Digital age baby, everything is done digitally unless you prefer to be an old stubborn nut.

So here are my two cents to it all. Photography? Why not? If you can hack it then why not do it with passion. Passion and not boasting. Art is merely a form of expression of one self in an artistic method. Photography is one of them duh!
